Many of our young women (teens and early twenties) are suffering due to a lack of feminine leadership and guidance. Too often, girls are told they need to emulate men to get ahead. Even if they are not told this directly, they get subliminal messages thrown at them, constantly telling them to be more like boys. Messages that convey they are not perfect the way they are. Have casual sex. Be more into sports. Why learn how to cook? Get out there and focus on making money. Stop being so emotional. You cannot be a leader if you act this way. The list continues. It is crucial that a young woman knows and understands how valuable she is, especially in the areas that make her uniquely her. She needs to be fully aware that you can be feminine, beautiful, strong, a leader, intelligent, financially sound, and hold immense value. At thirteen, many of us begin to want to be independent and have control of our lives. To be happy, young women need to take charge of their growth, confidence, and relationships, improve their lifestyle and follow their dreams. Most of them are unaware of how to do this. They are being guided by other young people who also do not have effective guidance or leadership. As their life coach, I will help her take that journey, guide her through the growing pains, prepare her for womanhood, allowing her to keep moving forward, stay on track, and achieve success and happiness. In teen coaching, they learn to understand themselves and their value, establish good relationships, build confidence and create goals.
