Lady-In-Development (LID) is The Art & Power of Femininity’s flagship course. Is an educational curriculum developed and facilitated by Alisha that is geared towards feminine preparation for young women who are in need of appropriate feminine roles and leadership. This program has a virtual and an In-person option. LID is a curriculum designed to provide young women with the basic life skills fundamentals for their advancement. The coursework includes lessons on financial management and income growth, hygiene, sexual education, menstruation, self-worth, life planning, personal branding, amongst other important topics. This course consists of 12 weeks of expert instruction with 1-2 hours of training each week, plus 1 hour of pre-work to be completed prior to each class session. All graduates will receive a certificate of completion. Each student receives The Lady-In-Development 13 Session (e)Workbook. The program has been significantly impactful to more than 175 young women. Alisha has worked with organizations such as the Hartford Public Library, Youth Compass, Hartford’s Proud Drum and Drill, Peace Builders and others.
